The Jim Conforti Shark Injector represents one of the most cost-effective approaches to increasing your BMW's engine performance. It has been dyno-tested to provide a safe increase in BMW power by altering fuel enrichment, cam timing and ignition timing specifically for use with premium gasoline. The Shark Injector also provides an increase in the factory BMW rev-limit allowing for optimum shift points for maximum acceleration. Not only do we re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, we also re-map other areas of chips other tuners don't touch - such as acceleration enrichment, transition fueling (how the car responds to rapid change in pedal, and VANOS control as needed to optimize the vehicle for operation on premium fuel. This new software for the 2.5 and 3.0 engines is fully octane adaptive. It takes advantage of premium fuels from 91 AKI to 95 AKI and higher. There is no need for separate octane related variants with this software!
