After analyzing all the current big brake offerings, we wanted to provide race-brake performance (hard-stop repeatability, heat soak resistance, reduced stopping distance, etc.) in a package that we would be proud to call our own. Size matters. When you are ready to get serious about braking performance, 13" rotors and pads roughly twice the size of stock are the only way to go. The Very Serious Brakes can show off on the boulevard cruise... but they are even happier performing at the track. Aftermarket support in terms of pad choices (Performance Friction, Carbotech, Hawk, EBC) and replacement rotors (Brembo, Coleman, Zimmerman, StopTech) is abundant and economical. This means you are not tied to one manufacturer for replacement parts. Ten years from now, you might need replacement parts... and you can find them anywhere!
